Awakening
As outlined in the book The Great Awakening, awakening is the process of drawing consciousness into your body. In world spiritual and esoteric traditions awakening is variously known as enlightenment, as the process of removing The Veil, as the graceful descent of the Holy Spirit into The Body, as the unfolding of Christ Consciousness, as the attainment of Buddha Mind, as the emergence of Krishna Consciousness, so on. On The Lightning Path spiritual awakening is represented variously as removal of the blindfold (see Parable of the Blindfold), as filling up of the vessel, as descent of consciousness into the body, and as the unfolding of the divinity within.
The process of awakening is perfectly represented by the Water Glass Metaphor. The attainment of spiritual awakening is supported by The Lightning Path and is accomplished be healing the Physical Unit, reducing Disjuncture, and moving it (i.e. the physical unit) towards proper Alignment with monadic consciousness through the instantiation of Right Thought, Right Action, and Right Environment.
