Normal Consciousness

'Normal Consciousness refers to the average, everyday, waking consciousness typically attained as a result of our standard global socialization process. Normal consciousness is a limited form of consciousness and is reflective of a physical unit damaged or otherwise limited by childhood physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, emotional neglect, faulty socialization (i.e. gendered socialization, competitive socialization), or simply incorrect instruction. As a heuristic we may suggest that normal consciousness ranges at the very low end of the scale, anywhere from 8% to 15% capacity of the Physical Unit (i.e. a Consciousness Quotient of between 8 and 15).

Higher levels of consciousness are attainable up to the physical limits of the body and mind. Brief periods of enhanced consciousness may be experienced as a result of brain trauma, some forms of meditation, the ingestion of entheogens, and other practices designed to briefly enhance consciousness and/or generate fleeting Peak Experiences. A more permanent expansion of consciousness in the body may only be attained via a process of spiritual and psychological healing designed to clear energetic blockages (specifically in the body's chakra system) and fears imposed by The System. Because of the nature of higher consciousness, the process of spiritual and psychological healing must include an emphasis on Right Thinking, Right Environment, and Right Action otherwise the physical unit will remain out of alignment, will experience Disjuncture, and will resist the expansion of consciousness into "the vessel."
